Union Minister for Education Dr Nyunt Phay received Mr Iskander Azizov, Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Myanmar, at the meeting room of the Ministry of Education in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday afternoon.

Both sides exchanged views on promoting cooperation in the education sector between Russia and Myanmar, issues of foreign education, improving the quality of Russian language teachers and teaching Russian.

Deputy Minister for Education Dr Zaw Myint, officials, and Ms Anastasia Solovieva, the ambassador of the Russian Federation to Myanmar, attended the meeting.
