Families of the Office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army, Navy and Air) yesterday held the monsoon fingerling releasing ceremony at Yezin Dam in Zeyathiri Township of Nay Pyi Taw Council Area yesterday to accumulate fish resources in the dam, led by Chairman of the State Administration Council, Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing.

Senior General Min Aung Hlaing and his wife Daw Kyu Kyu Hla led the activities to release fingerlings into the dam. SAC Vice-Chairman Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Commander-in-Chief (Army) Vice-Senior General Soe Win and his wife Daw Than Than Nwe, Chief of the General Staff (Army, Navy and Air) General Kyaw Swa Lin and his wife, the Commander-in-Chief (Navy) and his wife, the Commander-in-Chief (Air) and his wife, and senior Tatmadaw officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief and their wives also released fingerlings free into Yezin Dam.

The Senior General, his wife and party viewed round participation of Tatmadaw members and families in the fish releasing ceremony. At the ceremony, families of the Office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army, Navy and Air) released two-inch long fingerlings, namely 5,000 golden carps, 45,000 rohus and 50,000 silver bards, totalling 100,000 fingerlings into the dam as the 2025 monsoon fish-releasing activities. They have put 885,700 fingerlings into the dam 11 times from 2011 to date.

Also, present at the ceremony were Union-level dignitaries and their wives, senior officer trainees from the National Defence College, Tatmadaw members from the offices and departments under the Office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army) and their families.
