The high-level Myanmar delegation led by Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, currently in the Republic of Belarus, yesterday morning visited Minsk Tractor Works and Slutsk Cheese Factory in Minsk.
They were welcomed by Belarusian Minister of Industry Mr Efimov A V and Factory Director-General Mr Avramenko S A at Minsk Tractor Works.
The Senior General and the party interestingly observed vehicles produced by Belarus for the purpose of farmland preparations, vehicles used in cultivation, nurturing crops and broadcasting agricultural inputs, the vehicles used in the prevention of unexpected natural disasters and fire extinguishing, the vehicles and machinery used in transporting agricultural products to the market. The Senior General asked what he wanted to know.
They also viewed the assembly process of tractors at Minsk Tractor Works and discussed something he wanted to know. At the meeting hall of the factory, the Senior General and the party held talks with the Belarusian Minister of Industry and the party. They cordially discussed the manufacturing of agricultural-use machines, vehicles and machinery by heavy industries under the Ministry of Industry of Belarus, local and international sales of these products, and potential for technological cooperation in the development of the mechanized farming sector of Myanmar and the manufacturing of agricultural machinery, vehicles and heavy machinery.
The Senior General also visited the booth of the factory and exchanged gifts with the Bela rusian Minister for Industry and the Factory Director-General.
Minsk Tractor Works was established in 1946 to manufacture agricultural-purpose tractors. A total of 15,377 employees are working at the factory, which plays a key role in the production of agricultural-purpose tractors in Belarus. Tractors from the factory are exported to Western European countries and ASEAN countries.
At Slutsk Cheese Factory, the Senior General and party were welcomed by Production Deputy Director-General Mr Vitaly Gennadyevich Zlobin and Commercial Deputy Director-General Mrs Ekaterina Sergeyevna Lapteva.
After visiting the factory, the Senior General discussed with officials who clarified facts about the factory.
The Production Deputy Director-General explained facts about the factory and the work process. The Senior General asked about the market shares of milk and dairy products of the factory, and the quality control process.
Slutsk Cheese Factory has been in production for more than 40 years. It is the largest cheese factory not only in Minsk but in Belarus. It is formed with a primary company, five branch offices, five factories and three agriculture and livestock farms. The factory produces 250 tonnes of milk, 150 tonnes of milk powder, 3,000 tonnes of dairy products, 100 tonnes of butter and 100 tonnes of cheese, which are exported to 24 countries.
