The Union Election Commission will ensure the election is free and fair, as well as a remarkable milestone, said UEC Chairman U Ko Ko.

He made the above statement in a meeting with the Myanmar Press Council held on 24 June at the UEC Meeting Room.

He also highlighted that UEC and MPC will need to work together to help the public awareness about the election process in three periods- pre-election, during the election and post-election.
