U Than Swe, Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, participated in the Yoga Session organized by the Embassy of the Republic of India stationed in Yangon in collaboration with the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Culture of Myanmar to observe the 11th International Day of Yoga yesterday morning at the Thatta Thattaha Maha Bawdi Pagoda in Nay Pyi Taw.
U Lwin Oo and U Ko Ko Kyaw, Deputy Ministers of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, members of Nay Pyi Taw Council, officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs, the office of Nay Pyi Taw Council and Ambassador of India Mr Abhay Thakur, diplomats and staff from the Embassy of India as well as other invitees also participated in the Yoga session and celebrated the 11th International Day of Yoga altogether.
The Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Foreign Affairs then planted a sapling of Mesua Ferrea along with the Ambassador of India in commemoration of the 11th International Day of Yoga in the precinct of the Thatta Thattaha Maha Bawdi Pagoda in Nay Pyi Taw.
