As of 3 May, six regions and states impacted by the Mandalay earthquake have reported 3,778 deaths, 5,105 injuries, and 93 missing individuals.
Search and rescue teams from the Myanmar Fire Brigade, alongside domestic and international responders, have been conducting rescue missions in the affected areas. These efforts have successfully rescued 653 survivors trapped under collapsed buildings and recovered the bodies of 788 deceased individuals.
Local donors have provided financial support and essential supplies to those affected, while international communities, organizations, and individual contributors have extended additional assistance. Between 5 pm on 2 May and 5 pm on 3 May, baby accessories weighing 0.777 tonne donated by the Danish Red Cross, tents and clothes weighing at 1.349 tonnes donated by the Myanmar-Chinese Taipei Traders Association and kitchen utensils weighing 10.1 tonnes provided by UNHCR arrived at Yangon International Airport.
These relief supplies are being distributed swiftly to earthquake victims to ensure timely support.
