Regarding to the donation, the Singapore’s Ambassador said, “Singapore notices the second wave of COVID-19 in Myanmar. The donation was made after the telephone conversation between State Counsellor Daw Aung San Suu Kyi and Minister for Foreign Affairs Dr Vivian Balakrishnan a few weeks ago”.
“Facemasks were also donated earlier. This will reflect the friendships between Singapore and Myanmar,” she added.
