POSCO International Corporation donates RT-PCR Test Kits and Rapid Antigen Test Kits to Ministry of Health and Sports on 13 October.
The POSCO International Corporation, a joint venture with Myanma Oil and Gas Enterprise of the Ministry of Electricity and Energy donated Korean-made RT-PCR Test Kits and Rapid Antigen Test Kits to the Ministry of Health and Sports at the Department of Medical Research in Yangon yesterday. The Ministry of Electricity and Energy, the Myanma Oil and Gas Enterprise Thakayta Offshore Oil Base Manager U Tin Tun Naing and Managing Director of POSCO International Corporation Mr Jung Hwan Lee handed over the COVID-19 test kits to Director-General of the Department of Medical Research Dr Zaw Than Tun.
POSCO International Corporation is a joint venture with Myanma Oil and Gas Enterprise for oil and gas exploration and production in Myanmar.
The Corporation donated 10,000 RT-PCR Test Kits worth of US$110,000 to the Department of Medical Research of the Ministry of Health and Sports in April, RT-PCR (QIA CubeHI (QIAGEN)) worth of $150,000 and 7,200 RT-PCR Test Kits in August, 15,000 RT-PCR Test Kits worth of $100,000 in September. As the fourth time donation yesterday, the corporation donated $100,000 worth of 13,652 Rapid Antigen Test Kit and it has donated a total of $460,000 worth of medical equipment to the Ministry of Health and Sports.—
