CONSUL-GENERAL of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar in Nanning, Daw Khine Su Lin, along with a nine-member delegation from Agricultural Research Department of the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation and the Institute of Agriculture in the Mandalay Region, attended the fifth International Conference on Deepening ASEAN Cooperation in Agricultural Science and Technology, held at the Guangxi Wharton International Hotel in Nanning on 22 October.

The Guangxi Academy of Agricultural Sciences (GXAAS) hosted the conference to foster collaboration between China and ASEAN nations, focusing on agricultural research, modern farming practices, the production of high-quality seeds, green and smart agriculture, and the integration of digital technologies into the agricultural sector.

Experts and researchers from agricultural departments, organizations, and universities in China and ASEAN nations, such as Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Malaysia, Vietnam, and Thailand, gathered to discuss and exchange experiences in various agricultural fields.
