According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Myanmar’s consuls-general participated in events celebrating the 75th Anniversary of the Founding of the People’s Republic of China in Kunming and Chongqing on 29 September.

Myanmar Consul-General U Thwin Htet Lin attended the anniversary celebration at the Green Lake Hotel in Kunming, Yunnan Province. The reception was also attended by Mr Wang Yubo, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Yunnan Provincial Committee and Governor of Yunnan Province, officials from the Yunnan Provincial People’s Government, consuls-general from various consulates in Kunming, and invitees among others.

Similarly, Myanmar Consul-General U Kyaw ZeyarLinn attended the anniversary celebration at the Yuzhou Guesthouse in Chongqing on the same day.
