U Thant Sin, Myanmar’s Ambassador to the Republic of Korea, along with embassy staff, participated in the “2024 ASEAN Family Day” ceremony held in Seoul on 22 September, as reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The event took place at Seoul Battleship Park and was organized by the Embassy of the Philippines, which currently holds the chairmanship of the ASEAN Committee in Seoul.

Attendees included the Secretary-General and staff from the ASEAN-Korea Centre, ambassadors and their spouses from various ASEAN embassies, as well as diplomats and their families. The Philippine Ambassador, Ms Maria Theresa Dizon-De Vega, delivered a speech, and participants engaged in various games and competitions.

During the ceremony, the Myanmar embassy, along with other ASEAN embassies, offered traditional food and drinks to guests.
