Union Minister for Labour U Myint Naung, accompanied by Deputy Minister U Win Shein, Directors-General, relevant officials of departments, organizations and MOEAA (Myanmar Overseas Employment Agency Association), yesterday attended the food donation ceremony for 260 flood-stricken households in Chaungkangyi village, Zeyathiri Township, Nay Pyi Taw, at the Changkangyi Monastery.

At the event, the Union Minister and party donated offerings to Presiding Sayadaw of Chaungkangyi Monastery U Thusetta, and handed over cash assistance and foodstuffs for flood victims.

They also observed the healthcare services of medical units of the Social Security Board of the Ministry of Labour and consoled the flood-affected people.

At the event, 260 households received K30,267,000 worth of cash assistance, as well as foodstuffs.
