A total of 146 Myanmar migrant workers (84 males and 62 females) returned home through the Thai-Myanmar Friendship Bridge No 2 in Myawady Border town yesterday. Local authorities welcomed the returnees and the responsible persons from respective townships arranged the necessary medical check-up and send them to quarantine centres in respective regions and states in accordance with the COVID-19 health guideline.

From 1 May to 23 September, a total of 79,020 migrant workers have returned home through the Thai-Myanmar Friendship Bridge-2.
