The 7th Council of Bureaux Working Group (CoBWG) Meeting was held online on 15 September in line with Protocol-5 (ASEAN Scheme of Compulsory Motor Vehicle Insurance) of ASEAN Framework Agreement on the Facilitation of Goods in Transit (AFAFGIT).

Managing Director of Myanmar Insurance Enterprise Dr Sandar Oo chaired the meeting which was attended by delegates of ASEAN member countries. During the meeting, they discussed matters relating to Council of Bureau members’ ongoing works on implementation of cross-border motor vehicle insurance in accordance with 22nd ASEAN Insurance Regulators’ Meeting which was held in Myanmar in November 2019.

They also detailed about information and data on Compulsory Automobile Liability Insurance (CALI) on ASEAN COB Website and the use of ASEAN Compulsory Motor Insurance (ACMI) System. — MNA (Translated by Kyaw Zin Tun)
