THE Ministry of Foreign Affairs reports that the Myanmar Embassy in Brasilia participated in a Food and Cultural Bazaar organized by the GCCM (Group of Heads of Mission Spouses). The event was held on 1 June in Brasilia, Brazil.
Seven ASEAN embassies, including Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, and Vietnam, participated in the bazaar alongside 50 other embassies and missions.
The Myanmar ambassador, his wife, and embassy staff showcased Myanmar handicrafts and distributed pamphlets in Portuguese about tourist destinations in Myanmar to guests.
The report states that the GCCM will donate the proceeds from the bazaar to orphanages, homes for older people, and charities supporting disabled people, people experiencing poverty, and those in need.
