THE Central Bank of Myanmar grants banking licences to the banks and supervises whether they follow the law, rules, regulations and directives. Banks offer various banking services such as savings, loans to vital sectors for the State economy, digital financial services, financial assistance for the trading sector and MSMEs and payment with international banks following the directives of the Central Bank of Myanmar.

Currently, malicious media outlets and unscrupulous people who do not want State economic growth intentionally spread fake news on Facebook pages, including Yan Paing Soe and Dean Kyne, to affect the State’s economy and financial state.

The Central Bank of Myanmar urges the people not to believe and not to worry about the news spreading on social networks that intend to affect the government and the interests of the people.

Therefore, it is not necessary for the public to be concerned about the instigation of insurgents, and people can get banking services as expected.
