Over 5.6 million stimulant tablets worth K1.68 billion were confiscated in Loilem Township, Shan State (South).
Security forces searched a Ford Ranger driven by Kyaw Sein and Toyota Hilux Surf driven by Tun Myint, near the Pinohn Village, Mongpun, Loilem Township, Shan State (South) at 6 am on 31 May and seized 4.6 million stimulant pills.
Officials made further investigations and also arrested Win Shwe who involve to the drug trafficking along with VIGO vehicle at 6:30 am on the same day.
Then officials also confiscated one more million stimulant tablets from Aik Loung from his house located in Letaw Ward, Nakhai Village, Mongpun at 7 am.
Therefore, in one day, 5.6 million stimulant pills at a total value of K1.68 billion were seized, and the Myanmar police Force has announced that legal action has been taken against them and that the perpetrators of chain crimes are being investigated and identified.
