ACCORDING to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA), families of Myanmar embassy participated in the processing and presentation of the ASEAN traditional foods programme in the Prague, Czech Republic, organized by the ASEAN-Prague Committee.

The ASEAN-Prague Committee organized a programme to process and present ASEAN traditional foods at the Chef Parade Culinary School in the Prague on 16 May. Trainers from embassies to ASEAN such as Indonesia, the Philippines, Malaysia, Myanmar, Thailand and Viet Nam showcased the processing and cooking of traditional foods.

The cookery class was attended by Czech citizens and family members from embassies based in the Prague. Under the theme of ASEAN Desserts, the Myanmar Embassy in the Prague presented the processing of “Golden Rice called Shwe Htamin”.
