REPORTS indicate that AA terrorists on 11 May launched heavy weapon attacks on the people’s hospital in Buthidaung, Rakhine State, where internally displaced people sought shelter. The assault resulted in the deaths of three residents and left ten others wounded, including a one-anda-half-year-old and a ten-year-old.
The attack by the AA terrorists was reportedly committed from Kyaukyit (Ywathit) Village, 2,800 metres northeast of Buthidaung at about 11 pm on 11 May. Heavy weapon shells fell and exploded the four-storey staff housing of the hospital. Those injured are currently receiving treatment at the local military hospital in Buthidaung.
The AA terrorist has launched 14 attacks on residential wards in Rakhine State, leading to 60 fatalities and 113 injuries.
