THE entertaining event to honour the 2023-2024 Academic Year outstanding students was organized at MICC II in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.

The event was attended by Union Minister for Information U Maung Maung Ohn, Union Minister for Education Dr Nyunt Pe, and relevant officials.

Artistes from MRTV and the Myawady band sang the songs to stimulate the national spirit and patriotism, and comedian Dein Daung and the troupe presented humorous entertainment.

Outstanding students also participated in the entertainment programmes individually or in groups.

Outstanding students watched video clips presented by the Ministry of Information about the “Prevention of Toxic Media” and “State Building and Media Role” at MICC II on 25 April. The Union minister and deputy minister offered 30 MRTV DTH receivers and 150 DVB T2 Set Top Boxes to outstanding students, trainees of maritime and aviation training courses, scouts and young Red Cross members through the lot-drawing system.
