THE Department of Fisheries announced that marine surveying activities within the Myanmar Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ) will be carried out until 19 February.

In order to continue the Myanmar-Singapore underwater fibre cable connection to Bangladesh, marine measurement works are planned to be carried out by Campana Mythic Company Limited in the EEZ from 12 to 19 February.

Maritime warnings have already been issued for ships, cargo boats, fishing ships, and motor boats not to travel in the designated area in order not to cause delays during the operation period.
