MYANMAR and Uzbekistan continued discussions to promote collaboration in tourism, trade, and commerce, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Myanmar Ambassador to India U Moe Kyaw Aung and Uzbekistan Ambassador to India Mr Sardor Rustambaev exchanged views on regional and global issues on 15 February at the Myanmar Embassy to India.

U Moe Kyaw Aung presented in the meeting that Myanmar and Uzbekistan have friendly relations, and the two countries will also uplift the beneficial mutual collaboration as members of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), promoting potentialities of the bilateral partnership in economic, trade and tourism sectors, while increasing the communications of government to government (G to G) and People to People. He also explained the current situation in Myanmar.

The Uzbekistan ambassador also discussed that there is potential to increase bilateral economic relations, and the Uzbekistan Embassy will continue promoting trade and economic collaboration.
