DAW Than Than Swe, Governor of the Central Bank of Myanmar, met with the Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to Myanmar, Mrs Aya Saad Mohamed Abdelkarim yesterday morning and Ambassador of Russia Mr Iskander Azizov yesterday afternoon at the meeting hall of the Central Bank of Myanmar in Nay Pyi Taw. During the meeting with the ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt, they had a friendly discussion about opening of accounts at local banks and issues related to foreign exchange.

Similarly, during the meeting with the Russian ambassador, they had a open discussion on connection of payment to facilitate fast and smooth process of trade payments between Myanmar and Russia and bilateral process of card system. The meetings were also attended by the Deputy Governors of the Central Bank of Myanmar, the Permanent Secretary and departmental heads.
