FALSE information that the members of the Security Force raided Pachi Village of Ohntaw Village-tract in Sagaing Township, Sagaing Region, and torched over 30 houses, and three residents were shot to death has been spread on social media by malicious media outlets.

On 12 December, although there was a clash between Security Force members and PDF terrorists near Pachi Village, Security Force members did not raid and torch the village.

Tatmadaw always carries out security measures to ensure the State’s stability and protect people’s lives and property. It has never done anything that affects the public.

Terrorists launched destructive actions to destroy the State’s stability, people’s lives and property, whereas malicious media spread misinformation to mislead the people and disturb the counter-terrorism operation procedures.
