MALICIOUS media, including Khit Thit, are spreading misinformation that Operation Control Command Commander Brig-Gen Aung Zaw Lin from Tatmadaw has died in the Kokang clash of northern Shan State.

The news is incorrect, degrading the military’s reputation and the morale of Tatmadaw members involved in armed engagements. It is a purposeful propaganda spread to mislead the public and reduce trust in Tatmadaw.
