THE basic and advanced military training courses for UTC volunteer teachers and students, which began on 1 October 2025, successfully concluded yesterday. Closing ceremonies were held in Nay Pyi Taw Council, Bahtoo in southern Shan State, Chaungzon in Mon State, Hmawby in Yangon Region, Pathein in Ayeyawady Region, and Toungoo in Bago Region.

The chief ministers of relevant regions and states, commanders, relevant officials, coaches, teachers, students and invitees attended the event, and the chief ministers, commanders and officials delivered speeches respectively.

The officials presented gifts to the trainees and prizes to the prize-winning students. They also cordially greeted the trainees.

A total of 1,088 teachers and students of the 2024-2025 academic year attended the Basic and advanced military training for UTC teachers and students concludes courses, which were conducted for 30 days. The training offered different subjects such as physical fitness, Myanmar martial arts, military drill, small arms, individual field expertise, tactics, morale and ideology, engineering, first aid and shooting exercises. Moreover, it provided field trips for the trainees to widen their knowledge scope.
