Acting President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, Chairman of the State Security and Peace Commission of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, who was in the Russian Federation during his working visit at the invitation of President of the Russian Federation Mr Vladimir Putin, left No 2 Vnukovo International Airport in Moscow, the Russian Federation, for the Astana Airport of the Republic of Kazakhstan yesterday morning.

The high-level Myanmar delegation led by the Acting President and SSPC Chairman of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar was seen off at the airport by Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs Mr Andrey Rudenko of the Russian Federation and officials.

On arrival at the Astana Airport, the high-level Myanmar delegation led by the Acting President and SSPC Chairman of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar was warmly welcomed by Mr Roman Sklyar, First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Myanmar Mr Margulan Baimukhan and officials.

Acting President and SSPC Chairman of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar Senior General Min Aung Hlaing was welcomed by Kazakhstan’s Guard of Honour in line with the tradition of welcoming heads of state.
