The Myanmar-China Friendship Association (Central) and its Taunggyi branch held a donation ceremony at Sao San Tun General Hospital in Taunggyi on the morning of 12 September, during which they donated essential medicines and medical equipment.

At the ceremony, Taunggyi branch chairman U Han Lin Aung, secretary U Tun Lwin, and executive members handed over medicines and supplies worth about K18.8 million. Medical superintendent Dr Yan Naing Maung accepted the donations, expressed gratitude, and presented a certificate of honour in return.

In addition, the Taunggyi branch chairman and executive members met with Chinese Consul-General Ms Gao Ping, who was in Taunggyi on a working visit from Mandalay, on the evening of 11 September. They discussed matters related to Myanmar-China friendship and cooperation.
