Myanmar delegation led by Union Minister for Education Dr Nyunt Phay, who is currently in Kazan to attend the International Forum of Ministers of Education “Shaping the Future” on 11 and 12 June, received Russian Education Minister Mr Sergey Kravtsov at the meeting Hall of IT Park and discussed bilateral cooperation in the education sector.

The Union minister met journalists and observed the practical training session of a digital application for children at the IT Park building.

On 11 June morning, the Union minister observed the displays of digitalization of education in Russia.

During the occasion of the International Forum of Ministers of Education “Shaping the Future”, Russian President Mr Vladimir Putin and Foreign Affairs Minister Mr Sergey Lavrov made speeches online.

The Head of Tatarstan and the Education Minister explained on the history of Russia, the important role of history in the curriculum and international cooperation in the education sector, and the participants discussed the educational development measures.

After the forum, the Union minister held an informal meeting with Education and Science Minister Mr Pozdnyakov Valery Anatolyevich of Buryatia, met officials of Altai State Pedagogical University and signed the Road Map to implement collaboration between the universities.

In the evening, the Union minister joined the dinner hosted by the Russian Education Minister at Topaz (Crystal) Hall of Kazan Palace Hotel.

On 12 June morning, the Union minister attended the formal breakfast event of education ministers and observed the Adymnar Secondary School at noon.
