Deputy Minister for Information U Ye Tint attended the Global Media Dialogue for the second-day event of WAVES 2025 held at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai, India.

Information Ministers and leaders of different organizations from respective countries posed for a documentary photos. Indian Information and Broadcasting Minister Mr Sh Ashwini Vaishnaw then made a speech urging all to cooperate in innovation and cultural exchange.

Indian External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar also remarked, highlighting the systematic regulations as today’s technology rapidly evolves alongside young people, it is also swiftly transforming creativity and innovation.

During the event, Deputy Minister U Ye Tint discussed technological exchanges to narrow the gaps between technologies supporting the developing countries, Indian rescue teams, medical teams and about 750 tonnes of relief items from India for the quake victims and expressed willingness to promote the innovation sector together with India and participant countries through the constructive outcomes of WAVES 2025 and Global Media Dialogue.

Afterwards, video messages sent from countries were played. The joint statement of the Global Media Dialogue was released, and the event was concluded. The WAVES 2025 will continue until 4 May.
