THE malicious media, RFA has spread false information on social media that Tatmadaw airstrike resulted in five civilian dead and 12 wounded in Myaungbwe village of MraukU Township in Rakhine State on 28 November.

Regarding that news, the AA insurgents launched attack on Myaung bwe police station using drone and the Security Force members also launched counter-attacks with Drone Guns, and so there might be explosions of drop bombs and Tatmadaw did not carry out airstrikes.

Similarly, the Khit Thit media outlet is also deliberately spreading misinformation on social media that five civilians died and two children were seriously wounded after an artillery shell launched by Tatmadaw exploded in two villages of Buthidaung Township of Rakhine State on 28 December.

The regional security official claimed that AA insurgents attacked the Security Force members in Buthidaung Township using heavy weapons and these artillery shells fell into the villages and exploded, and the Security Force did not open fire into the villages.

The malicious media outlets are circulating the false information to cover up the doings of AA insurgents group and defame Tatmadaw in international countries and cause disintegration between Tatmadaw and ethnic people.
