A Honda Civic crashed into a roadside barrier block and caught fire between mileposts 325/6 and 325/7 of the Yangon-Mandalay Expressway at around 10:30 am on 10 April 2023.

A fire engine, a water bowser and the fire brigade members from Pyinsi Expressway Fire Station rushed to the scene and put out the fire at about 11:40 am. In the incident, three men in the vehicle died on the spot and were taken to the Natogyi Public Hospital in the police vehicle.
