On 7 April 2025, Mr Yodying Supasri, Minister Counsellor at the Royal Thai Embassy in Yangon, together with Ms Yuwadee Thaengngam, President of the Thai Business Association of Myanmar (TBAM), and representatives from the Thai private sector in Myanmar, handed over monetary and in-kind donations – collected from Thai businesses and citizens – to Dr Myo Nyunt, President of the Myanmar Red Cross Society. The donation was made under the “Here with You #3” initiative, which ran from 1 to 4 April 2025, to support people affected by the recent earthquake in Myanmar.

This round’s total donation amounted to more than K161,685,526 (approximately THB1,278,146.45). It included cash donations (K40,850,526) and THB333,234.14, collected from the Thai private sector, including Myanmar Sutech Company, TCCC Myanmar Limited, Bumrungrad Clinic Yangon, Tunn Star, Kasikorn Bank (Yangon Rep Office), Siam Commercial Bank Myanmar, Krungthai Bank (Yangon Representative Office), Bavita Co Ltd, APC Inter Trade, Chemico Myanmar, and the Thai public.

In-kind donations from TBAM member companies included sleeping materials and supplies worth K60,000,000 from SCG Myanmar, outdoor living and sleeping supplies worth K22,075,000 from ARO Commercial (Makro Myanmar), K20,000,000 from RMA Services Myanmar, K10,000,000 from Myanmar Information Highway, 100Plus beverages worth K7,440,000 from F&N Service (Myanmar), and 50 rolls of sun/rain protection tarpaulins from Myanmar Polysack.

The donation campaign has now entered Phase II, running from 5-10 April 2025. Donations of funds and relief supplies to assist earthquake victims in Myanmar can be coordinated through TBAM at: manager@tbam1997.com.
