Myanma Posts and Telecommunications (MPT) offers free data, local calls, and MPT-to-MPT Short Message Service (SMS) for the second time, starting yesterday, to people in earthquake-affected areas, according to the MPT Yangon office.
As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, MPT is offering free data (1GB), 100 minutes of local calls, 700 minutes of MPT-to-MPT calls, and 700 SMS messages from 5 to 11 April to help residents in earthquake-affected regions stay connected with their families and friends, while also making donations and working to restore telephone service as quickly as possible.
