THE Headmistress of the MMH (MYINT MO HOUSE) Private Primary School Daw Myint Myint Than conducted a field trip to the Kanbawzathadi Palace in Bago Region for students yesterday.
Director U Myint Zaw of the Archaeology and National Museum Department greeted the headmistress, teachers and students at the Mya Nan Pyathat building.
Then, the students viewed the Thiha Thana Throne, Myay Nan Pyathat building, teak posts kept in the left side and right side building, the Bamara Thana throne, the Chief Queen Khin Khin Gyi building, the Su Pan Kalayar building, the Mingala Lake, teak posts, the statue of King Bayintnaung, and the model of cart pulled by 16 horses of King Bayintnaung, and Assistant Director Daw Thin Thin Shwe of the Department explained necessary things.
The trip leader, the headmistress said she made the trip for students so that they can know the history of Myanmar being a Myanmar national. If they know about King Bayintnaung who had his palace in Bago, they must be proud of being Bago residents, look up the King and achieve a proper mindset to conserve the natural environment.
A total of 20 teachers and 138 students joined the field trip to the Kanbawzathadi Palace.
