Pyidaungsu Hluttaw and Pyithu Hluttaw Speaker U T Khun Myat said that the 1st regular session of 3rd Hluttaws is scheduled for the first week in February 2021. The Central Committee on Organizing Hluttaw Meetings and the work committees held the 4/2020 coordination meeting yesterday in Nay Pyi Taw to prepare for administrative affairs in the upcoming Hluttaw session.

The term of Second Hluttaws will end on 31 January 2021, and the next Hluttaw session will have to convene within 90 days after 8 November General Election in 2020. The Speaker also discussed measures related to security, healthcare and accommodation for Hluttaw representatives as the first regular session of Hluttaw are important for legislation, administration and judiciary sectors of the country. Amyotha Hluttaw Speaker Mahn Win Khaing Than, the patron of Central Committee, discussed coordination of relevant work committees in preparations for the Hluttaw session.
The meeting was also attended by Pyidaungsu Hluttaw Deputy Speaker U Tun Aung (a) U Tun Tun Hein, Amyotha Hluttaw Deputy Speaker U Aye Tha Aung, and Union Ministers from the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Ministry of Information, the Ministry of Transport and Communications, the Ministry of Electricity and Energy, the Ministry of Health and Sports, the Ministry of Construction, together with secretaries of work committees and officials from Hluttaws.
