The Myanmar government, prioritizing the well-being of its citizens abroad, has taken swift action to repatriate four Myanmar nationals, including Ma Thazin Myo Nyunt, who faced difficulties in O Smach, Cambodia.
Through the collaborative efforts of the Myanmar Embassy in Phnom Penh, relevant Cambodian authorities, and Myanmar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, individuals facilitated safe passage back to Myanmar. On 13 December, they departed Siem Reap of Cambodia arriving in Yangon in the evening.
Myanmar embassies and consulates-general remain committed to assisting citizens facing hardships abroad. The families of the repatriated individuals expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Myanmar government and its diplomatic missions for their timely support and efforts.
