During the Plenary Session, discussion group chairpersons and panellists presented the conference processes and outcomes related to the seven topics discussed on the second day. These suggestions and negotiations were collectively reviewed and discussed by the participants.

One of the topics discussed was "The importance of increasing the number of students attending school”, presented by Deputy Director-General U Toe Win of the Sagaing Education Commissioner's Office and the panellists. They highlighted various aspects such as creating a healthy learning environment, evaluating the effectiveness of continuous assessment systems, facilitating the readmission of students who have been separated, recommending joint participation of monastic and private schools, and equalizing student-teacher ratios.

In parallel sessions, different topics were addressed. These included completing KG+9 as a national issue, recommending higher enrolment rates, providing qualified teachers and producing good and literate citizens with patriotism and love for country, identifying methods for vocational skill acquisition for youths who have completed KG+9, effectively teaching technical and vocational skills for the workplace, improving higher education and producing knowledgeable professionals, higher research and innovation beneficial and applicable for MSMEs, cultivation of quality teachers, and enhancing the qualifications of teachers through the linkage between the Teacher Knowledge Criteria Framework (TCSF) and Inter-School Quality Assurance (IQA).

The conference participants actively discussed and suggested recommendations based on the summary of the pre-recommendation processes. The discussion summary report of the conference was presented by Director-General U Ko Lay Win of the Myanmar National Language and Culture Department. Union Minister Dr Nyunt Pe expressed his gratitude and pride for the active participation of all the teachers during the three-day event, emphasizing the successful collaboration among the Ministry of Education and 11 related ministries.

In his closing speech, the Union minister highlighted that this conference marked the first successful joint effort of all education-related departments to improve future education. Despite the short duration, the Myanmar Education Conference 2023 was deemed a successful event by the Ministry of Education and its partners.
