1. In order to control the spread of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) more effectively in Yangon Region, the Ministry of Health and Sports issued Order 107/2020 dated 20-9-2020 and Order 108/2020 dated 22-9-2020 respectively. The Stay-at-Home order has been issued for the people in townships of Yangon Region not to go to their workplaces, except for the essential businesses included in the orders.
2. According to these orders, the Social Security Board under the Ministry of Labour, Immigration and Population, in exercising the rights in Article 100 of Social Security Law 2012 and in accordance with Article 31 (b-2) and its bylaw 136 (b), will pay 40 per cent of contribution for June 2020 to the insured persons, as a family assistance fund, who included in the Stay-at-Home order, worked at the private industries, factories, and departments until 23-9-2020 and paid their contribution for June 2020, although they have not pay their contributions for 36 months at least before June 2020.
3. Employers or their representatives of the private industries, factories and departments which are registered at the Social Security Board and entitled to the stipulations in the above paragraph 2 may apply for social security fund for their employees at the relevant social security office or through Webportal https://ssbmyanmar.org or Website-https://ssb.gov.mm since the day this notification has been released.
4. The above-mentioned stipulations also come into effect since the day this notification has been released.
