Deputy Minister for Information U Ye Tint visited the Basic Education High School for industrial, agricultural, and livestock breeding in Gwaycho Village of Chauk Township yesterday, and inspected the learning sections of students.
During the meeting with the education officials, teachers, students and their parents, the Deputy Minister highlighted the need for students to prioritize learning during their youth, try hard to be perfect youths with five essential skills, learn the subjects carefully, and added that if they are able to join the universities according to their respective subjects, they will become young professionals bringing dignity to the region and country.
He also urged the parents and teachers to train the young people properly, encourage them to read, carry out to development the libraries, cooperate to be able to hold the forthcoming election successfully and arrange for every eligible voter to cast a vote exposing the insurgents, and cast a vote for the ones who will really bring benefits to the region and the country.
He presented the books donated by the Ministry of Information and the Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs for the libraries. At noon, he proceeded to the IPRD office in Kyaukpadaung Township, and inspected the preparation for the library development and reading habit raising campaign, and made proper instructions.
