Prime Minister U Nyo Saw received a delegation led by Malaysian Minister of Foreign Affairs Dato’ Seri Utama Haji Mohamad Bin Haji Hasan at Office 18, the Union Government Office in Nay Pyi Taw, yesterday afternoon.

At the meeting, they cordially exchanged views on friendly relations between the two countries, promotion of cooperation in all sectors including trade and investment, implementation of the peace process under the Nationwide Ceasefire Agreement-NCA, preparations to hold a free and fair multiparty democratic general election successfully, further enhancement of relations between the two countries, and further promotion of positive cooperation in the ASEAN and international landscapes.

Also, present at the meeting were Union Minister for Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement Dr Soe Win, Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs U Naing Min Kyaw and officials. The Malaysian Minister of Foreign Affairs was accompanied by the Special Envoy of the ASEAN Chair on Myanmar and officials.
