MYANMAR Post, under the Ministry of Transport and Communications, will issue a new postage stamp featuring the Golden Birdwing butterfly of Myanmar. According to records from the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation, this butterfly species is unique to Myanmar.

The new postage stamp, valued at K200, will be available for purchase simultaneously at the Central Post Office in Nay Pyi Taw, the General Post Offices in Yangon and Mandalay, and post offices in other regions and states starting at 9:30 am on 1 February.

As part of a special programme, the date of purchase will be stamped on the postage stamps bought at the Central Post Office in Nay Pyi Taw and the General Post Offices in Yangon and Mandalay on 1 February.
