DAW Kyu Kyu Hla, wife of the Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister, watched a competition of marionette troupes at Yinkyayhmu Yadana Hall under the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Culture yesterday afternoon.

Together with the wife of the Council Secretary, the wife of the Joint Secretary, wives of the SAC members, wives of senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief, Union-level officials, and deputy ministers, Daw Kyu Kyu Hla enjoyed competition of Tawwin Yokesone marionette troupe representing Yangon Region with the performance of “Pyinnya ShweOh” drama in the amateur level (Grade-1) marionette troupe event.

The marionette event has been held in the Myanmar Traditional Cultural Performing Arts Competition since 1998 for many years. This year’s competition also comprises the marionette event for the preservation of Myanmar's cultural heritage and revitalization of Myanmar’s marionette art.
