At this auspicious New Year moment, as the world moves from 2025 to 2026, I extend my prayers and loving-kindness to the Sayadaws and venerable members of the Sangha in Myanmar; to the government leaders administering the country; to the people and citizens of Myanmar from all regions; and to all people of the world – everyone of all the seven-day-born beings. May this New Year’s auspicious time be marked by favourable stars, auspicious blessings, and an auspicious moment for all.

Taking this favourable constellation, auspicious blessing, and propitious time, I extend my prayers and loving-kindness that from today onward the people and citizens of Myanmar, the people of the world, the government leaders administering the country, and all people from every region may sleep well, awaken to a good dawn, be free each day from unwholesome and unrighteous deeds, uphold and practice wholesome and virtuous conduct, and remain mindful and awake.

At this auspicious New Year moment as the year turns from 2025 to 2026, may all the people and citizens of Myanmar and all people of the world experience what is good and not what is bad; gain beneficial results and not harmful ones; abandon wrong views and doubt; and be able to diligently practice and cultivate wholesome conduct that leads to the realization of path wisdom, fruition wisdom, and Nibbāna.
