Today marks the end of 2025 and the auspicious beginning of the New Year 2026. May all the people of the world, including the people of Myanmar, be blessed with every good fortune. From the New Year onward, may they enjoy peace of mind and good health, be free from all calamities, and have their wishes fulfilled. I also extend my heartfelt prayers for a peaceful world.

Especially, what I would like to urge the people of the world, including the people of Myanmar, is this: leave behind the negative attitudes, impurities, and unwholesome actions of the old year, and strive in the New Year to make both your mindset and your conduct as good as possible. I earnestly urge this, and also wishes everyone to be blessed with all auspiciousness.

For lasting good results, it is beneficial only if, at all times, everyone can gain at least one – or even all three – of merit, knowledge, and wealth. May you all become people who can use time in a truly beneficial way.

They all need to follow the advice from the auspicious preaching to achieve prosperity and success. Moreover, they have to avoid bad behaviour and misconduct. Moreover, they need to perform meritorious deeds. These activities are auspicious. As such, a New Year’s message of goodwill is delivered, wishing that the New Year 2026 be filled with all auspicious blessings and that the world become a peaceful place.
